This studio has been a place of making. Creation is not something that happens occasionally here—it is the foundation of everything we do. From garment construction to handcrafted details, our work is rooted in skilled hands, patience, and process.

 

The studio has evolved beyond making into a space of design. It is the home of ADLAW, a curated collection of apparel and jewelry designed and produced by Walda George-Waithe through the studio. These pieces are available by order and on display alongside original art within the space.

Located at East Yard, 27 Prince Street, Arima, Trinidad, the studio serves multiple creative purposes. It is:

• The home of the JoKi One mas camp, where Carnival costumes are imagined, designed, and brought to life

• A working design and garment construction studio

• A retail space for handcrafted items, including studio-made pieces and works by partner artisans

• A creative hub where craft, costume, and collaboration intersect​

 

The studio reflects a belief in shared creativity—supporting makers, showcasing craftsmanship, and offering the public access to thoughtfully made work.
